Dillon Iffrig – April One Bourbon Ambassador

 

Q: Tell us about your role at Genuine Spirit Company.

I joined Genuine Spirit Company in late 2025 as a Buzzbassador Representative. I work remotely and travel to support marketing initiatives and events in different markets. My focus is building authentic connections, representing the brand with integrity, and helping expand awareness in a way that reflects who we are and what we stand for.

 

Q: What professional experience do you bring to the team?

I hold an Associate of Arts in General Studies and have served as an Equal Opportunity Program Manager. I’ve also completed advanced leadership and management development training. A lot of what I bring to GSC is structure, accountability, and discipline. I believe the small details matter, and consistency over time is what builds something strong.

 

Q: Which Genuine Spirit Company value resonates with you most?

Legacy. To me, legacy represents accountability, mentorship, and backbone leadership. The Chief Petty Officer community stands for those things, and being part of a brand that honors that legacy while building something future-facing means a lot to me. Legacy isn’t what you say. It’s what remains when you’re not in the room.

 

Q: What does the company’s mission mean to you personally?

It means honoring service while creating real opportunities for veterans. It’s about building a strong brand with purpose and standing for camaraderie, growth, and long-term impact. We’re not just selling a product. We’re building something that opens doors and strengthens the community around it.

 

Q: Genuine Spirit Company talks about “The Spirit of Rebellion.” How has that shown up in your life?

The spirit of rebellion has always been part of me, especially through motorsports. Riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, or quads gives me a sense of freedom and challenge. It’s not about being reckless. It’s about pushing limits, staying sharp, and trusting your preparation.

That mindset carries into my work. When I’ve had to make tough decisions, I didn’t celebrate in a big way. I celebrated by committing fully to the next step. Rebellion, to me, is about choosing growth over comfort.

 

Q: What motivates you?

My wife and children. They push me to be better every day and to build something meaningful for our future. That’s what keeps me focused and grounded.

 

Q: What’s life like outside of work?

I’m a night owl through and through. Outside of work, I enjoy collecting Pokémon cards and attending card shows, especially anything tied to nostalgia and long-term value. I also like building LEGO sets with my kids, keeping my lawn and flowers in shape, and tinkering with small engines or fixing just about anything that needs attention.

My ideal weekend has no strict plans, just time at home with family. I recently lost my 10-year-old Weimaraner, Bentley, who was my first “baby.” He’ll always hold a special place in my heart.
